Trip

Dear Husband,

I was just talking to Kevin over the phone before walking into my class. He said we should go down to CA again to visit when we can. That would be nice, wouldn't it? It made me think about the trip we were planning with everyone in WA. We should probably start looking at dates since the rest of them are coming here and may want to look around at ticket prices. LMK what you think... I'll try to see if I can start planning it somehow for the rest of them. Love you.

MAY it go by sooner..

Dear Husband,

In case you didn't realize, it's MAY!! I'm glad to know another month has passed by. This is great... the quicker time flies the sooner you're back home. I just thought i'd send you a friendly reminder since you've been so busy.

I'm so lazy and bored that i pulled up some photobooth stuff on the computer and came across this one and thought i'd take one. :)

miss you

My sleeping schedule was really messed up yesterday since i slept at 5pm-midnight. I stayed up all night doing homework and chatting with you and then went to bed at 6am. It was nice chatting with you even though it was about the MOTOACTV... better than nothing right?

Anyway, i have class tonight and want to hit the gym afterwards since the it's open now with the new renovations. Talk to you later baby. I love you!

hmmm.. meant to be?

This is the second time i've had this kid in my class. The first time I saw it I thought: aww, my name is next to joaquin's name. What a coincidence. 

Now he's in my class again and my discussion threads are usually next to his. I think this is a sign. JOAQUIN and ANNA are names that are meant to be together. I mean, come on.. we already have Roo and Tang :)

Honolulu 5K, April 29, 2012

Today would be my first 5k to set the bar for time to beat for next weeks 5k (The Banana Run) but my phone wigged out and now i'm not sure what my time was until the official results are posted. Based on my app, right now it says I did the 3 miles at a 7:19 pace which i'm positive is wrong and way to fast for me. What bugs me is that I want to know so bad what the results are and am getting so anxious! Urghh! 

The run was actually pretty quick and aside from dodging the little children who run in zig zags around the adults, I really had fun. Andre was able to finish the run at a very good pace considering the fact that he hasn't run in the past couple years. Cleone met her goal and beat her last 5k time. And although I don't know my personal record for the 5k yet, I did notice that I had sweat this time (which i attribute to my new found determination towards consuming more water)..this itself is a great accomplishment! I wish I could've shared this experience with you. 

Also, notice the little lanyard medal we got for the run? By the time you get home, I may have a little collection of running trinkets!!

Queen on the...BOOBS?!

How cute is she? I laid on the couch to rest my body (since crossfit seriously worked out my shoulders and traps) and guess who decided to join me... Your dog.

Snow in Hawaii?

So technically it's not really snowing in Hawaii BUT this little snowflake piece is so pretty and in trying to rationalize with why I should own it. It's a $1000 with a 30% discount, then and extra 10%, plus another 25% off for the friends and family... It ends up being $470ish.

Maps

I missed you today since I was in class when you dialed in. I hope your day is good. I decided to take a run around the streets of downtown after my night class to see what the route would look like for our 5k run tomorrow. I'm sorry to tell you this, but your wife does not know how to read a map. I tried looking visualizing the route based on where I was but ended up having to rotate my phone around and following the streets that way! haha! I stopped frequently to see if I was on the right track and my time wasn't too shabby. What I really wanted to do was to run it at my targeted pace for the race day but oh well.. I can do that on the day of the race.

Tomorrow i'm doing a long run with Chris along kahala and diamond head... I think it's the same route for the marathon. I haven't run that whole area yet (at least in the last 7 years) so it should be nice. I'm crossing my fingers that my foot holds up! I hasn't given me a problem this week :)

Of course, how could she not be? She's tucked in between a pillow and my tummy. It's heaven!

I know you think i get extremely needy when its that time of the month but i feel like I haven't really chatted with you in awhile. I miss you.. i hope you miss me too.. and NO, it's not that time of the month!

Yelp unleashed

It's the yelp event tonight and I'm a panda! I tried to put all my hair up I the bun but it didn't go that well so I had to do half of my hair. I wish you could join me on this. I love you tons!

Hello, Shave ice anyone?

We had shave ice today and AJ wanted to use the phone while we waited. She's says, "unn-na... Hello?? Unn-Na he-hello!"

Anna panda

I was thinking about going to that yelp zoo event as a panda. I found this at those children's jewelry store for $7.50. They're eye covers for bedtime.. What I thought was maybe put the panda one on my head are like a headband and fluff/tease my hair into two large pony-tails to looks like ears.

Noodles!

I got out of class early and Cleone text'd me to see if I had anything going on tonight... We decided to grab noodles at that Japanese place above McCully. I wish you could be there with us. I love you

Smart dog

She likes to sit on my book when I study.. I said, "off", and the slid off a little.. Then a little more.. Then it was just her face on my book. So cute!

She's back to missing you again. You know how she always sits on me and doesn't let me study.. Well, right now she's focused on you and not me. I get it... I'd rather be sleeping in your spot too.

My Fake Family

I've worked with this little one a few times now. She always plays my daughter and is the so adorably fun on set. We also had another child on set, a boy, who didn't want to participate so we ended up doing the family shot with just two girls and a myself as the mom and the news guy as the dad... totally fun day. 

I can't wait to see what it would be like for us one day. :)
